    TUM Alumna Gertrude Krombholz was a physical education teacher trainer at TUM, specialised in many areas of sports and dance, and took part in three Olympic and 16 Paralympic Games. To promote her passion, she donated an award to TUM.

    Only two centimeters. That was all TUM Alumnus Klaus Wolfermann needed for victory. At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, the javelin thrower beat the Latvian favorite, took home the gold medal and wrote sporting history.

    Originally Manuel Baum is a teacher for physical education. But since December 2016 he is doing what many dream of: as the head coach of a first division football team he is bringing in success every weekend.
